1/4 of a Post (Waiting on Richard)

When it comes to thinking back to when we saw Richard III, I don't just think of the show, but every experience of the day that went along with it. Hands clenched, nervous jitters, and trying to not let the idea of going home disappointed, enter our minds.
Christopher having sat since 1pm, and the rest of us following, some drawing and writing, others having intense conversations to kill the hours.
The rush was almost unbearable when it was time to take our numbers with shaky hands, and a glass of wine to calm the nerves.
     Okay, make that two glasses.
And then, the magic words- and tickets were in our hands.

Thank the theatre gods.

The victors are illustrated below from a reflection in a metal column. (Blind contours in ink)

(Laura, Ashley, Melina, Brandon, Hollis, and Christopher- subtracting the old lady that almost took all the tickets.)

I know this is too short a post, I just thought I'd get the doodle up before I forgot to share it.
